MPE recognition in the UK

The UK Department of Health has announced how it will recognise medical physics experts (MPEs), as required by the EU Basic Safety Standard Directive (BSSD) relating to radiation safety. Details of the new UK recognition scheme for MPEs in radiation safety and how to apply are available on the Department of Health website.

They advise existing MPEs to fill out the application form promptly for inclusion on the new MPE list.
