Hielke Freerk Boersma is the Radiation Protection Expert of the University of Groningen. He is also responsible for the officially recognized E&T programme in Radiation Protection at his home institute. Since 2002 he serves the Dutch Society for Radiation Protection as member of the Board. He is a former member of the Dutch Health Council.
